An opportunity for a Veterinary Radiologist to join a dedicated and friendly team at ARH Homebush on a full-time or fixed term basis!

The Opportunity

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver outstanding veterinary care. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, such as High Field 1.5 Tesla MRI, 64 slice CT, Ultrasonography and fluoroscopy alongside traditional DR radiology enabling you to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, across radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI and fluoroscopy.
  • Interpreting and analysing diagnostic images to identify and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team of veterinarians to guide appropriate treatment and intervention.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient data.
  • Providing guidance and support to veterinary staff regarding diagnostic imaging techniques and findings.
  • Provide occasional education to staff and referral partners on diagnostic imaging protocols
  • Advice on the purchase and upgrading of diagnostic imaging equipment and the ongoing expansion of existing imaging services at ARH

About You

As a successful candidate, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A veterinary degree registerable in Australia with specialist qualifications (FANZCVS, ACVR or ECVDI Board-certified)
  • We are also keen to hear from Veterinarians who have finished residency programs
  • Commitment to gold standard patient care and a “fear-free” approach to patient handling
  • The confidence and initiative to work autonomously yet lean on your team as needed
