Greencross Fairy Meadow is excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our team as an Associate Veterinarian. Located in Wollongong, our recently renovated, state-of-the-art facility features 9 spacious consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, CT imaging, DR radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ICU, 3 surgery rooms, a dedicated dental and endoscopy room, Tonovet plus, in-house pathology equipment, and in-house orthopaedic equipment for advanced procedures.
Our ARH (Animal Referral Hospital) Wollongong operates an emergency service every weeknight and all weekend, ensuring our patients receive the best 24-hour care, meaning after-hours work is NEVER required. We prioritize collaboration to achieve the best patient and team outcomes. Our team’s wellness is a top priority, and we maintain an effective schedule to ensure everyone has a proper lunch break. We also provide enriching continuing education programs, 5 weeks of annual & study leave (combined, pro rata), and mental health first aid courses. Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au
