To ensure these high standards are continually met, and as a result of recently won defence and automotive contracts, the opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Spray Painter to join our expanding business.
We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in the spray-painting industry, based in Mornington, Victoria.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform spray painting tasks on a variety of different surfaces (primarily from defence and automotive industries)
- Prepare items/parts for the application of coatings (cleaning, masking etc)
- Comply with job cards and company procedure to ensure client specifications are met
- Complete necessary paperwork
- Prioritise workflow and ensure work is completed to quality standards
- Comply with OH&S guidelines at all times
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Assist in other tasks on the factory floor as required
Skills & Requirements
- Spray Painting experience 2+ years (automotive, defence or aerospace preferable but not essential)
- Experience with masking and preparation of parts
- High attention to detail
- Current Forklift License (preferable, not essential)
- Punctual and reliable
