Salary: $142,000 plus 12% superannuation

Position: Full time, permanent

Our client, Invest Dash Pty Ltd, trading as Greens Haul, is a major operator in the heavy road transport and bulk haulage sector, providing transport solutions for ready-mixed concrete, bulk aggregates and construction materials across New South Wales. The business operates a substantial fleet of heavy vehicles and works with major commercial clients, requiring strong management oversight to maintain service quality, compliance, safety and operational efficiency.

Greens Haul is seeking a full-time Transport Company Manager to oversee the overall operations of the transport business. This is a senior management role responsible for leading transport operations, supervising staff and subcontractors, managing fleet performance, maintaining compliance, controlling costs and ensuring the business continues to deliver reliable services to key clients.

This position will suit someone with experience and knowledge within the transport industry. Must have more than 3 years of experience in the transport industry. Occasional travel to client sites, regulatory bodies, and related worksites throughout New South Wales may be required in the performance of duties.

You must hold a Diploma or above in the relevant field.

In this role your main responsibilities include:

·Organise, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the transport business

·Develop and implement policies, procedures and strategies to improve operational efficiency, service quality and profitability

·Manage fleet utilisation, vehicle scheduling, dispatch coordination and transport planning

·Oversee the maintenance, servicing, registration and compliance of all heavy vehicles and transport equipment

·Supervise, lead and coordinate drivers, operations staff and subcontractors

·Monitor driver performance, fatigue compliance and chain of responsibility obligations

·Manage client relationships, service expectations and delivery requirements with major customers

·Review transport bookings, allocate resources and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time

·Prepare budgets, monitor operational costs and oversee financial performance, including accounts receivable and payable

·Ensure compliance with NHVR requirements, road transport legislation, WHS obligations and company procedures

·Maintain accurate management reports, operational records and compliance documentation

·Identify opportunities for business growth, improved efficiency and operational excellence

· Resolve operational issues, service complaints and compliance matters in a timely and professional manner

Essential Requirements

·Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent experience or at least 3 years of relevant work experience

·Minimum 2 years’ experience in the transport industry, with proven management experience

·Strong leadership, decision-making and organisational skills

·Good understanding of fleet operations, transport compliance and heavy vehicle regulations

·Experience managing staff, subcontractors, budgets and client relationships

·Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders

·High level of professionalism, commercial awareness and attention to detail

· Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced transport environment
