The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Computer Systems Technician to support and maintain telecommunications-related computer systems and ICT infrastructure. This role involves hands-on technical support, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the secure and efficient operation of systems across the business.

Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000 plus super
Key Responsibilities
- Install, set up, and commission computer systems and ICT equipment supporting telecommunications networks and services
- Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of networked systems, including servers, routers, switches, and telephony platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and network environments to minimise service disruption
- Provide responsive day-to-day technical support to ensure telecommunications and IT systems operate reliably
- Assist with the rollout, testing, and integration of new ICT systems, upgrades, and network infrastructure
- Maintain system records, technical documentation, and operating procedures to support secure and stable operations
- Work closely with internal teams and supervisors to address technical issues and meet operational and service requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience supporting ICT systems and networked environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and communications systems
- Knowledge of VoIP, routing, switching, and server-based systems
- Ability to work independently and manage technical issues effectively
- Strong communication skills and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Engineering Technology
