Taxi Driver

ACT Cabs is hiring and training new Taxi Drivers in Canberra.

Weekend and Weekday shifts are available.

We offer great working conditions and you're backed by an experienced team of support staff that know the taxi industry inside out.

We also train new taxi drivers. If you don't already have a taxi driver license then to be eligible you need to have a full Australian driver license.

New taxi drivers will need to complete the following items to get a taxi license. It is a quick process and ACT Cabs will guide you:

1. Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP Check)

2. Medical Check

3. You will receive taxi specific training before you commence your job. Training takes four hours of your spare time at home and is fast and easy.

For new drivers who drive 50 or more shifts with ACT Cabs, we will reimburse the full cost of your WWVP Check, Medical Check and Training.

We are looking for enthusiastic persons who enjoy driving and will provide good customer service to our large customer base in Canberra.
