About the role: 

Working with us at People First Bank as a Support Home Loan Specialist you will be the face of our business for our customers and will be responsible for delivering consistent high quality customer service. 

This is a full-time position that will be based at our Casuarina branch. Being a support role, you will be required to provide relief support across various home lending roles in accordance with business needs.

In this role, you will operate with a level of autonomy as you support our members in achieving their financial goals and assist them with tailored lending solutions. You’ll work collaboratively with the team while taking a Members First approach to deepen relationships, identify new opportunities, and build trusted, long-term connections. You’ll also be responsible for delivering on business objectives, maintaining compliance, and managing key operational tasks to ensure a seamless member experience.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Selling mortgage products;
  • Identifying and developing new business sources;
  • Developing and maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships;
  • Providing a superior level of customer service using a needs based approach;
  • Achieving sales targets through referrals, customer contact and your own established sales networks.
