Sunscreen Testing Paid Volunteer

Our client is currently seeking volunteers/participants to assist with their sunscreen testing program. If selected, participants will be compensated at a minimum of 2 hours ($200) of pay and then paid a rate of $100 per hour for their time testing.

Product Information: The sunscreen being tested is a zinc-based formula that is Vegan, Organic, and Natural. The active ingredient used in the sunscreen has been fully approved by the FDA in the USA and by the TGA in Australia.

What you need: Once the team ascertains your interest, you will need to schedule a skin check at a skin clinic of your choice. A list of clinics that can conduct the skin check will be provided to you, however you can complete this at any clinic/GP of your choosing but you must ensure the doctor will sign the consent form first.

A consent form will be provided for you to take to the clinic, this must be completed and signed by a doctor before being returned. Upon receipt of the signed consent forms, volunteers will be compensated $50.

Next Steps – Initial appointment: After completing the skin cancer check, participants will be required to visit the office/testing centre in Rocklea for a 30-minute appointment. During this visit, you will complete a 30-minute UV exposure check will be conducted. Participants will be compensated for two hours of their time, amounting to $200.

After this appointment, participants are required to return photos of their back 16-24 hours after testing. Testing Facilitylab staff will review your test results, and you may be called back for additional testing

Next Steps – Longer testing appointment: After your initial appointment, testing staff will review your results and may call you back for additional testing. The additional testing can range from 3 to 6 hours but can be as long as 8 hours. Volunteers will be compensated at a minimum of 2 hours of their time ($200) then at a rate of $100 per hour for additional testing at this appointment.

Long-Term Assessment: For some volunteers, there is the option to participate in long-term assessments. Participation is subject to criteria and can be discussed at your testing appointments.

Important to Note - Participant Requirements for Sunscreen Testing: Before you go to the testing facility, you are required to book a skin check to get your consent forms signed. This is a requirement before they can consider you as a participant. Participants will receive $50 after completing the skin check and signing the consent form. It’s important to complete this process before scheduling an appointment
