Position: Social Media Specialist (Marketing)

Our client Fundo Loans Pty Ltd is a fast-growing, Australian-owned fintech company revolutionising the way people access short-term finance. With a customer-first approach, their proprietary Fundo Score platform empowers borrowers with transparency, control, and speed—often funding approved applications in under 60 seconds. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a Social Media Specialist to drive their engagement, growth, and storytelling across digital platforms.
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist to develop and deliver high-impact, on-brand content for their digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in video editing, content strategy, social storytelling, and digital engagement—especially in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute content strategies that align with Fundo’s brand and business objectives.
- Create and publish engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including short-form videos, image posts, copywriting, and audio.
- Edit video and audio using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition).
- Develop campaign assets from concept to production using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator).
- Collaborate with in-house product, design and development teams to deliver integrated campaigns and digital experiences.
- Manage social media calendars, schedule posts, and ensure consistent brand voice and quality.
- Engage with online communities and respond to customer feedback in line with company policies.
- Analyse performance metrics using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and social reporting dashboards.
- Stay up to date with platform trends and compliance regulations relevant to the Australian fintech industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
- At least ten (10) years of experience in digital content creation, with proven success across multiple social media platforms.
- Proficiency in video production and editing, including storyboarding and post-production.
- Demonstrated skills in copywriting, campaign ideation, and social media management.
- Experience with SEO basics, content optimisation, and audience targeting.
- Knowledge of marketing trends, especially within fintech or regulated industries, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a keen eye for visual detail and tone.
- Familiarity with project and campaign management tools such as Notion or Trello is desirable.
