We are seeking experienced Full-Time Skydive Instructors to join our Cairns, Queensland drop zone! The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000.

About you

Our Skydive Instructors have to meet the following criteria:

• You are a fully qualified and experienced Skydive Instructor with at least 2 years’ experience, Minimum 2500 total jumps, Min 500 tandems & display pro license.

• You are a good communicator, have fantastic customer service skills and are proficient in the English language.

• You hold or have the ability to obtain - Australian Parachute Federation (APF) Tandem Master, APF E Licence with Display Pro endorsement, APF Parachute Licence, APF Instructor D Licence (or in the process of obtaining) and are Sigma endorsed.

• You have a solid understanding of Skydiving emergency procedures & relevant Australian Parachute Federation policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Execute all skydiving activities as required by the APF rules, regulations, and publications and in line with gear manufacturer’s manuals and procedures.

• Work together with Drop zone staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Proactively seek information and updates on all relevant APF documents, such as Operational Regulations, Regulatory Schedules, and others.

• Regularly monitor and service all personal skydiving gear including helmet, altimeter, camera, and PFD etc., ensuring compliance.

• Perform relevant Gear Inspections, including the 100-jump check as required by the Chief Instructor.

• Participate in promoting team culture, safety and OHS protocols and proactively communicate concerns or improvements regarding yourself, other team members, customers, or equipment.

• Film tandem skydives to capture the amazing experience for each tandem skydive.

• Responsible for other skydive-related tasks, such as parachute packing, GCA and other duties as required from time to time at the DZ.
