This commercial builder is best known for their construction of Commercial, Industrial, Retail, FMCG and more sectors across Melbourne & regional Victoria. This business is a stable, reputable Contractor, with excellent staff retention and a strong, sustainable pipeline of projects.

Role:
Joining the business as an experienced Site Manager, you will be required to manage the construction of a brand new industrial facility in the Geelong region.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Lead onsite activities from site setup to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.

• Supervise diverse subcontractor teams, fostering a productive and collaborative onsite environment.

• Monitor and accelerate construction schedules to meet or exceed rigorous project deadlines.

• Champion a "safety-first" culture by maintaining strict site compliance and risk management protocols.

• Manage rigorous quality inspections and the seamless transition of assets during the final handover phase.

• Act as a key liaison between onsite operations and the project management office to ensure delivery excellence.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• A carpentry background
• Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on Commercial builds up to $20m
• Strong knowledge of the construction standards and ideally D&C builds
• Experience managing structural steel, pre-cast panels and civil elements of commercial builds
• A willing, hard working attitude
• Experience client facing and comfortable managing clients expectations
• Unlimited working in Australia
