Overview
Based within Edith Cowan University's Nutrition & Health Innovation Research Institute, our Food Environments Team is looking to appoint an outstanding Senior Research Fellow (Level C) with exceptional academic writing skills.

Our team leads cutting-edge, policy-relevant, multidisciplinary research that examines how the environments in which children live, learn, and play influence their dietary behaviours and weight status. In collaboration with State and Local Governments, health agencies, urban planners, and community stakeholders, we aim to generate high-quality evidence to inform impactful interventions and policies that foster healthier, more equitable, and sustainable food environments.

This position will play a key role in enhancing the team’s research profile and influence by driving excellence in competitive grant writing and scholarly publication. We are seeking someone with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality academic writing and support the development of strong research funding proposals and impactful scientific outputs.

Benefits & Remuneration
This part-time or full-time fixed term (12 months) position attracts a salary of $143,582 to $164,982 per annum (ALEVC) plus 17% University superannuation contribution. Level of appointment will be based on qualifications and experience.
