The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) is seeking a committed Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist / Vocational Practitioner) to join the Mossman Hospital team and provide high‑quality, culturally safe care across primary, emergency and community health settings.
About us:
Mossman Multi-Purpose Health Service provides emergency, general medical, clinical and diagnostic services, x-ray, ultrasound, and pharmacy all available onsite. The hospital has 24 inpatient beds, 9 dialysis chairs and 8 residential aged care beds. Mossman offers a rich scope of practice and the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving health outcomes for local communities, including First Peoples.
As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive competitive base salary up to $274,678 per annum full time (L18 – L27) or up to $216,643 per annum full time (L13 – L18), you will also have access to:
