Our Private Tax team is expanding, and we’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our vast community of solvers. The Private Tax team brings our purpose to life by working with clients throughout their entire business lifecycle, from supporting growing privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups, to estate and succession planning, wealth preservation, and everything in between, we provide holistic solutions that ensure our clients can grow and protect their businesses and wealth with confidence.

You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in: 

  • Advising high net wealth individuals/families, businesses and their owners on tax technical topics such as restructures, capital gains tax, Division 7A and trust losses; 

  • Provide tax compliance, tax planning and tax advisory services for large client groups with multiple types of entities including trusts, companies, partnership and individuals; 

  • Provide family advisory services including succession and estate planning; 

  • Liaising with the ATO in relation to Top 500 and Next 5000 programs; 

  • Apply your tax knowledge and experience to clients across all sectors of the Australian economy; 

  • Manage a client portfolio including building relationships with your clients; 

  • Mentor junior team members and invest time in their development;

  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with the family members, understanding their needs, values, and expectations; 

  • Cultivate relationships with key external partners such as financial advisors, legal experts, and tax consultants to ensure comprehensive service delivery; 

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, financial markets, and regulatory changes to provide cutting-edge advice and solutions; 

  • Lead and mentor the team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement; 

  • Ensure that the family office complies with all relevant laws and regulations, mitigating legal and financial risks;
