Job Opportunity

This opportunity all about mapping out the market, You will be targeting the following industries and major companies within the Melbourne market.

  1. Construction & Civil contractors
  2. Trades and sole contractors
  3. Major Earthmoving Fleets
  4. Hire Companies
  5. Local Councils

Step 1 -

How the role works is if you see for example an excavator on the back of truck, you will flag down the driver and ask him what attachments he is using. Or if you see and operator on the side of the road digging trench, STOP and talk to him. This is all about building relationships and winning them over by selling up the brand of attachments as well as making quick easy sales. This role will see you talking to anyone and everyone that use earthmoving machinery.

Step 2 –

There are many large civil contractors throughout Melbourne, You will be tasked to not only maximize this market but start getting out in front of customers and driving new equipment throughout the market. You will call on companies like Delta Rent, Multiplex, CPB, Multiworks, Entracon civil, Delcon, Vic Civil, Maxcon. Just to name a few civil companies. Then you can also target the large earthmoving companies like Hitachi, Williams Adams, Komatsu, CJD, Porter equipment, Tutts and many many more. The customer portfolio for this role is massive and the opportunity to make exceptional commissions is fantastic.

The Ideal Candidate –

  1. If you have been selling trucks, earthmoving equipment, tractors, buses, container handlers, anything related to machinery. We want to talk to you.
  2. You MUST have external Sales experience And have the ability to cold call new customer and win relationships from and introduction face to face call.
  3. You must be willing to travel throughout all of Victoria.
  4. Proven Salesman and enjoy winning new relationships and having excellent customer service skills.
  5. CRM Data Base Experience.
  6. Positive attitude, Team player, and enjoy taking clients out for dinner.

Salary Package –

In this role its all about progression, So what you start on is only the starting point. I have done this role in other states and if your good at your job, you are very well looked after and they will increase your package quickly.

  1. Base Salary - $85,000
  2. Uncapped Coms $150,000
