The Opportunity

As Sales Development Manager, APAC, you’ll build and lead the Sales Development function from the ground up.

You’ll start with a small, high-potential team of inbound and outbound SDRs and scale it into a repeatable, high-performing engine that fuels long-term growth across the region.

This is a player-coach role — perfect for someone who wants to stay close to the action while also shaping strategy, systems, and culture. You’ll partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Enablement, and Marketing, while collaborating with global teams to bring best-in-class GTM practices into APAC.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Recruit, onboard, and coach a high-performing SDR team
  2. Lead from the front through call reviews, role plays, and hands-on coaching
  3. Own APAC pipeline and opportunity generation targets
  4. Build scalable SDR playbooks, sequences, and qualification frameworks
  5. Establish KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting to drive clarity and focus
  6. Champion the use of AI, automation, and modern sales tools to lift productivity
  7. Ensure high-quality opportunity qualification and seamless AE handovers
  8. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Enablement, and RevOps to drive alignment
  9. Create clear career pathways for SDRs into senior SDR and AE roles
  10. Foster a culture of trust, learning, accountability, and collaboration
  11. Feed market insights back into Product, Marketing, and Leadership
  12. Collaborate globally to share learnings and continuously improve

What We’re Looking For

Must-have:

  1. 2+ years in a sales leadership role
  2. 2+ years in B2B SaaS sales (SDR, AE, or similar)
  3. Strong passion for coaching, developing people, and building teams
  4. Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  5. Highly structured and data-driven approach to sales execution
  6. Comfortable with CRM and modern sales tools
  7. Exposure to outbound prospecting, sequencing, and sales playbooks
  8. Strong communication skills and leadership presence
  9. Collaborative mindset — enjoys building with others
  10. Comfortable leading in a non-commission, team-based sales model

Nice to have:

  1. Experience in high-growth or scale-up environments
  2. APAC market exposure
  3. Experience using AI or automation in sales
