Roof Plumber

MSA Roofing Experts Pty Ltd is an established roofing company based in Point Cook, Victoria. The company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Roof Plumber to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of roofing and roof plumbing duties including:

1. Installing, repairing and maintaining metal roofing, flashings, gutters, downpipes and rainwater goods.
2. Measuring and preparing materials required for roofing projects and ensuring accurate installation.
3. Cutting, shaping and fixing sheet metal and other roofing materials to roofs and building structures.
4. Installing roof drainage systems and ensuring proper water flow and weatherproofing.
5. Interpreting building plans and specifications to complete roofing work to required standards.
6. Inspecting roofing systems to identify faults, leaks or structural issues and carrying out repairs.
7. Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and building regulations.
8. Working collaboratively with other trades and site supervisors to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as a Roof Plumber or similar role.
2. Relevant trade qualification highly regarded.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods and safety practices.
5. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
