Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) at a friendly rural General Practice (GP) clinic located in Waikerie, SA. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, supporting general practice operations, managing patient appointments, and assisting medical practitioners with clinical procedures. The role also includes maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive healthcare services. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Full time, part time and casual positions available.

Waikerie Medical Centre is a well established general practice in the Riverland. The practice supports GPs, GP Registrars, GP Interns as part of the RDWA R2R GP Intern program, participates in the Rural Academy Clinical Excellence (RACE Program) and host Trainee Medical Officers (TMO’s) as well as Flinders University medical students and offer a wide variety of scope for nurses working in rural General Practice.

There is an opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our team. Registered and Enrolled Nurses are invited to apply for treatment room nurse position.

The position is currently for a part time employee but could lead to a permanent position in the future.

Full induction program and training will be provided.

The successful candidate must also be able to provide the following prior to commencement of position:-

• AHPRA Registration;

• National Police Clearance;

• Vaccination record;
