Mingenew supermarket is a locally owned and community-focused supermarket seeking a driven Store Manager to lead our team and deliver outstanding results.

About the role:

You'll be responsible for the overall performance of the store-driving sales, managing wages and waste, achieving KPI's and leading a passionate team to deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of supermarket staff
  2. Oversee daily operations, merchandising, and store presentation
  3. Manage store budgets, sales targets, wages, and waste control
  4. Maintain high standards of customer service and community engagement
  5. Implement company policies while bringing fresh ideas and initiative.

About you:

  1. Proven retail management experience (supermarket preferred)
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  3. Ability to work within a structured environment while making proactive decisions
  4. Reliable, hands-on, and eager to grow with the business.
  5. General retail management experience is acceptable, with supermarket experience preferred.
  6. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is required
  7. Approved Manager card is required too
