Key Responsibilities
· Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the boutique.
· Lead, mentor and manage retail staff: recruit, train, supervise, schedule roster and support growth of team.
· Deliver outstanding customer service, providing expert guidance on bespoke, bridal and luxury jewellery — ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and building client relations.
· Manage inventory, stock control, ordering, and visual merchandising — ensuring displays reflect the brand’s luxury image and jewellery presentation standards.
· Drive sales performance: set and communicate targets, monitor sales, track KPIs, analyse performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
· Maintain compliance with workplace policies, store procedures, and health & safety standards.
Key Selection Criteria / What We’re Looking For
· Proven experience in retail — ideally in jewellery, luxury goods, or fashion
· Strong leadership and people management skills: ability to motivate, coach, and manage a small team to deliver high-quality service.
· Excellent customer service skills and a polished, professional manner, with an understanding of luxury retail standards.
· Good organisational, communication and multitasking skills, with attention to detail — especially important for inventory control and jewellery presentation.
· Sales-driven mindset: comfortable with setting and achieving sales targets, analyzing store performance, and implementing improvement initiatives.
· Passion for jewellery, gemstones, luxury retail, and an appreciation for craftsmanship and bespoke customer experiences.
· Flexibility: showrooms may require rostered weekend or evening shifts depending on store hours (typical for boutique retail).
