Fresh Food Market in Rooty Hill is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our store operations and drive strong performance across sales, staff, and customer service.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced fresh food and grocery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory control
- Lead, train, roster, and manage a team of retail staff
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Implement merchandising strategies to improve product presentation and sales
- Manage budgets, analyse sales data, and prepare performance reports
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Support promotional activities and local marketing initiatives
- Maintain compliance with company policies and retail regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma of Business or higher, or a relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales and retail management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to drive sales and manage budgets effectively.
- Knowledge of retail operations and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems
