About the Role
As our Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop, supervising staff, managing inventory, coordinating marketing activities, and ensuring smooth and efficient store performance. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a driven individual with strong retail and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product selection and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and diversity.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, pricing policies, and marketing initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate in-store promotions and advertising campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Provide customers with expert product knowledge, assistance, and after-sales support.
- Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate stock and sales records.
- Prepare and manage the store budget, control costs, and monitor financial performance.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to maintain a high-performing and customer-focused team.
- Ensure the store complies with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field (desirable).
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in inventory systems and point-of-sale platforms.
- Sound understanding of retail operations, customer service, and financial control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
