As Joseph Ribkoff's Retail Assistant you will be entrusted to service an exciting and innovative new retail store located at Cairns Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of a globally recognised brand, delivering a personalised and stylish shopping experience to a diverse, high-traffic customer base.

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the store, showcasing our client's iconic collections and driving sales while building meaningful customer connections. You will ensure the brand is represented with professionalism and flair and you will play an integral role in this unique and high-visibility retail activation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a brand ambassador to local, interstate, and international travellers.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and styling advice.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards that reflect the Joseph Ribkoff brand.
• Achieving sales targets and maximizing retail performance.
• Managing inventory, stock rotation and daily operational tasks.
• Providing feedback on customer trends and preferences.

About You

You're a polished and motivated retail professional who thrives in a customer-facing role. You bring a natural sense of style, professionalism and a passion for fashion, with the ability to connect confidently with a wide range of customers.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in fashion retail or sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, sales-driven attitude with a love for customer engagement.
• High standards of presentation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Availability for early mornings, weekends and shift work aligned with flight schedules.

Previous experience in airport retail environment will be highly regarded.
