KESARI ENTERPRISE PTY LTD is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This is a leadership role suited for someone who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys working closely with both staff and customers.

About the Role

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for organising, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of restaurant operations. This includes menu planning, staff management, customer service, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You will work closely with chefs, suppliers, and front‑of‑house teams to maintain smooth operations and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  1. Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high service standards.
  2. Plan menus in consultation with chefs, ensuring variety, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
  3. Coordinate and organise special functions, events, and catering services.
  4. Arrange purchasing of food, beverages, and supplies while maintaining budget guidelines.
  5. Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and maintain accurate financial and operational records.

Customer Experience

  1. Greet guests, take reservations, and assist with order‑taking when required.
  2. Engage with customers to assess satisfaction with meals, service, and overall experience.
  3. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain positive relationships.
  4. Ensure the dining environment is clean, functional, and visually appealing at all times.

Compliance & Safety

  1. Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of dining and kitchen areas to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
  3. Implement and monitor food safety procedures and workplace health standards.

Staff Leadership

  1. Select, train, mentor, and supervise waiting and kitchen staff.
  2. Prepare staff rosters, manage shift allocations, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  3. Foster a positive team culture focused on professionalism, efficiency, and customer service.
  4. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development.

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
  2. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to manage budgets, stock, and financial records.
  4. Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.
