What you'll be doing
- Effectively manage all aspects of the rental cycle, from advertising vacant properties and conducting viewings to finalising lease agreements and maintaining strong relationships with tenants
- Efficiently handle the day-to-day tasks of property management, including rent collection, maintenance coordination, and regular property inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants, ensuring their needs are promptly addressed
- Proactively identify opportunities to maximise rental returns and occupancy rates for our clients
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, while adhering to all relevant legislation and industry best practices
- Collaborate with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the business
- Attend meetings and training as directed
- Reception support when required
- Other duties as requested by the Head of Property Management or Principal
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Property Manager, preferably in the residential leasing and property management sector or a high level of customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of the local market and an understanding of the real estate industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) or Agents Representative Certificate is preferred
- Proficient in using property management software and technology, or skills with IT systems and databases
