About the role  

Reporting to the Projects Delivery Manager and based onsite at our Silverwater Corporate Office, you will support the planning, coordination and execution of IT projects within the agreed scope by maintaining documentation, preparing reports and governance packs, coordinating stakeholders and logistics, and ensuring adherence to the Harvey Norman IT Project Delivery Framework.

You will also;

  • Coordinate communications and engagement with internal business and IT stakeholders, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, circulating materials and managing distribution lists.
  • Organise logistics for workshops, testing, training and Go-Live / Hypercare activities.
  • Assist with status reports and steering committee packs, minutes and follow up actions.
  • Maintain project schedules (MS Project/Planner), RAID logs, and action/decision registers.
  • Manage financial administration for the project, including raising purchase orders, updating cashflow, preparing accruals, completing reconciliations and processing invoices.  
  • Liaise with vendors/consultants for deliverables, access, logistics and onboarding.
  • Support change control administration (PCRs) and baseline updates.
  • Contribute to the on-going development of the PM framework of standards, processes, tools and templates.

About you  

You will have proven experience in a Project Coordinator role, preferably complemented by tertiary studies in IT, business, or a related field. You will be comfortable operating in a structured delivery environment with familiarity across waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies.

You will also have;

  • Previous experience supporting IT‑focused projects or technology‑driven change.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Financial literacy (budgets, forecasts, POs, invoices, accruals).
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Project/Planner, Excel and SharePoint/Confluence.
  • Confidence in documenting minutes and action items.
