Job Description

Greencross Vets Robina Village is a leading veterinary clinic dedicated to providing exceptional pet care services in Robina and the surrounding areas. As a part of the Greencross family, we are committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care and outstanding customer service. We pride ourselves on ensuring that the patients in our care (and their humans!) are provided the absolute highest standards of care. Excellent customer Service is paramount to the success of our clinic and is something that we are really passionate about.

We are a close-knit group, passionate about team consulting and all strive to ensure every team member feels supported and respected and given the best opportunities possible to reach their goals. Our clinic is located next to some great Cafes (for the best coffee, hot choccies and lunches!) and is only 15 mins drive away from the stunning Gold Coast Beaches, and a short 5 mins drive from Robina Town Center.

Our clinic includes 2 spacious consult rooms, surgical theatre, Xray, Ultrasound and separate cat and dog wards. Due to our size, this clinic would suit a first time or experienced manager alike! 

Our ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of the clinic, ensuring a seamless experience for both our clients and our dedicated team of veterinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of veterinary professionals and support staff
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that emphasizes exceptional patient care and client satisfaction
  2. Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance
    • Ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations
  3. Client Relations:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any concerns promptly
    • Implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction
  4. Financial Management:

    • Work closely with the regional management team to achieve financial targets and budgets
    • Monitor and manage clinic financial performance, including invoicing and accounts receivable
    • (It's okay if you have never seen a P&L before - We will teach you!)
  5. Marketing and Community Engagement:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients
    • Engage with the local community to build awareness of the clinic's services

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (Desirable but not essential)
  • Proven experience in a managerial role or senior nurse role within the veterinary industry (1-2 years at least is ideal)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of veterinary practice operations and industry regulations
  • Business acumen and financial management skills
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
