Plasterer (Wall and Ceiling)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced plasterer to join our construction team in Dee Why NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for provide high-quality plastering jobs in our construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

·Workspace Preparation: Cleaning and organizing the work area to ensure a safe and efficient installation process.

·Precise Measuring & Cutting: Accurately measuring plasterboards and cutting them to the required dimensions using appropriate tools.

·Plasterboard Installation: Securing plasterboards onto walls or ceilings and installing support materials such as corner beads.

·Joint Sealing & Smoothing: Filling gaps between boards with plaster or jointing compound and ensuring a seamless, even surface.

·Surface Repairs & Adjustments: Repairing damaged or uneven plasterboards to achieve a smooth, level finish.

·Finishing Work: Trimming edges and sanding surfaces for a professional, refined appearance.

·Assisting with Custom Designs: Supporting the creation of specialized plasterboard structures or decorative features as needed.

·Safety & Compliance: Adhering to construction safety standards and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.

·Team Coordination: Collaborating with painters, carpenters, and other construction professionals to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:

·Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining (Australian qualification preferred)

·One year plus of relevant work experience (preferably in Australia).

·Own vehicle to travel around sites.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Reliable and friendly attitude to work both independently and within a team.
