We require an experienced an experienced Panel beater with demonstrated expertise in repairing and restoring luxury and prestige vehicles to manufacturer and showroom standards and a deep understanding of advanced materials, precision craftsmanship, and strict repair protocols required in the luxury automotive sector.
This is a permanent, full-time position. You will be based in our workshop in Matraville.
Key Accountabilities
● Inspecting and assessing vehicle damage to determine repair requirements
● Removing dents, creases, and other structural damage using appropriate tools and techniques
● Repairing or replacing damaged panels, frames, and components
● Aligning and fitting repaired panels to ensure proper finish and function
● Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming
● Collaborating with spray painters and other team members to achieve high-quality results
● Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace health and safety standards
Your Application:
To be successful in the role, your application will need to demonstrate: Essential Requirements:
● Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent.
● At least 10 years of work experience as a Panel beater.
● Demonstrated experience repairing and reshaping high-end materials such as aluminium, high-strength steel, and carbon fibre.
● Demonstrated experience with replacing damaged complex inner body components of high-end vehicles
● Demonstrated experience with removing chrome finishes on new vehicles
● Demonstrated experience with applying matte clear coat
● Demonstrated experience with non-weldable plastic repairs
Remuneration:
Appointment to this role will have a total remuneration package of $104,608 comprising base salary of $93,400 plus 12% superannuation.
