As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team and contribute to the high-quality finishes that set our homes apart.

Key Responsibilities

1. Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
2. Reparation, cleaning, filling and sealing gaps and holes of all kind of surfaces such as plasterboard, bricks, woodwork, timber, cladding and concrete in readiness for painting.
3. Use appropriate paint depending on the surface and environment to be painted.
4. Clean surfaces and then apply where appropriate varnish and stain.
5. Remove wallpaper and then applying the required coating to protect, maintain and ensure smooth service for later painting.
6. Add adornments/decorations to walls and to other surfaces where required.
7. Selecting and preparing paints, mix paints to achieve the required colour and tone.
8. Knowledge and understanding of how to use pigments, oils, thinning and dry additives.
9. Fixing and colouring wood surfaces.
10. Ensure that all painting equipment such as brushes, other painting tools are thoroughly cleaned after work completion.

12. Work safely at all heights.
13. Use scaffolding where and when necessary.
14. Ability to communicate effectively with other contractors, clients and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For

1. Qualifications – Cert 3 or equivalent. Adequate experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications.
2. Experience: Proven experience in commercial or high-end residential painting.
3. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation.
4. Work Ethic: Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented.
5. Safety Focus: Commitment to following workplace safety standards.
6. Professionalism: Ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
