About the role
We are looking for a Padel Development Manager to drive participation, performance, and community engagement across the club’s padel programs. This role leads program development, coach management, and player pathways. The position contributes to our mission to be Australia’s premier destination for padel, fostering inclusion, excellence, and community growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage structured padel programs for all levels, from juniors to adults.
- Deliver participation growth targets and align programs with Padel Australia frameworks.
- Promote inclusion and diversity in all activities.
- Build partnerships with schools, councils, and local organisations.
- Run community open days, school clinics, and corporate engagement events.
- Leverage grants and funding to support participation initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage coaching team.
- Ensure compliance with WWCC, First Aid, and Safe Sport accreditation.
- Implement continuous professional development (CPD) for all coaches.
- Identify and support talented players via structured training pathways.
- Liaise with state and national coaches to align performance programs.
- Oversee elite player preparation for sanctioned competitions.
- Coordinate tournaments, leagues, and events that reflect the brand.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to grow sponsorships and community engagement.
- Deliver high-quality, compliant Padel Australia–sanctioned events.
- Prepare annual development plans and budgets.
- Maintain accurate participation and performance reporting.

Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Sport Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in sport or club management.
- Coaching qualification in padel or related racquet sport (Padel Australia recognised).
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) and current First Aid certification.
- Experience with grant applications and event delivery.
