Disability Support Worker – Rewarding & Flexible Role

About the Role as a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to participants, assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement. You will work within a supportive team, following individualized care plans to enhance the well-being and quality of life of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care including showering, dressing, and grooming.
2. Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
3. Support community participation, including social outings and recreational activities.
4. Provide transportation assistance, including driving participants to medical appointments, school, and shopping.
5. Work flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, and evenings as part of a rotating roster.

1. Minimum 1 year experience in the disability, aged care, or community health sector (essential).
2. Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field.
3. Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
4. Current National Police Clearance (no older than 12 months).
5. NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
6. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (if applicable).
7. Current Full Driver’s License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
8. COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (as per government requirements).

Work Schedule: Flexible shifts, including:

1. Morning Shift
2. Afternoon shifts
3. Day shifts
4. Evening shifts
5. Weekend availability
