MOTOR MECHANIC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles
2. Diagnose mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
3. Repair or replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and exhaust systems
4. Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and roadworthiness standards
5. Perform scheduled servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
6. Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
7. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Essential Requirements:

1. Relevant qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
2. At least 1 year of relevant work experience
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
6. Current Australian driver’s licence preferred

Salary and Benefits:

1. Competitive annual salary between $75,000 and $80,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience
