Metal Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading drawings, fabricating metal components, welding, and assembling products with precision and efficiency. You must have experience working with various metal types and fabrication tools, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
2. Measure, mark, cut, and shape metal materials using power tools and machinery.
3. Perform welding and assembly of components according to specifications.
4. Operate tools such as shears, press brakes, grinders, and MIG/TIG welding equipment.
5. Inspect finished workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
7. Collaborate with team members and report to supervisors on project status.
8. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and tools.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role.
2. Proficient in MIG/TIG welding and cutting techniques.
3. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
4. Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and machinery.
5. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
6. Certification in welding and/or metal and sheet metal fabrication (preferred).
7. Basic math and measurement skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $83,200.00 per year

Schedule:

1. 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

1. Christmas bonus
2. Overtime pay
