Engineering Trades Australia are seeking skilled Mechanical Supervisors to lead mechanical shutdown and turnaround operations. In this hands-on role, you will coordinate mechanical crews, ensure safety compliance, and oversee the execution of planned maintenance and repairs on critical plant equipment. This is a key leadership position requiring a strong understanding of mechanical systems, shutdown planning, and high-pressure decision-making.
Job Details:
- Rates - $90ph - $116ph (Varies depending on client and site)
- 12-hour shifts
- Meals and accommodation provided
- Ongoing opportunity for the right person
- Weekly pay - Every Friday
- Point of Hire - Perth
What is needed for the role?
- Trade Qualification
- Supervisory Qualification
- Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Working at Heights
- Confined Spaces
- Gas Test Atmosphere
- Basic Fire - Advantageous
- White Card
- High Risk License - Advantageous
- Working Rights
- Proven experience in mechanical supervision during shutdowns
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and work packs
- Flexibility to work extended hours and rotational shifts if required
