Design to Production provide digital communications and merchandising via innovative signage design and interactive screens. We specialise in delivering enhanced customer engagement through innovative signage design and interactive digital signage experiences.

We require services of a qualified and Mechanical Design Engineer.

Main Skills:

·Designing and developing mechanical components, systems and products using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks).

·Conducting engineering analysis including stress calculations, thermal modelling and performance simulations to ensure product reliability.

·Supporting product development through prototyping, testing and validation activities.

·Investigating technical issues and implementing engineering solutions to improve product performance and reliability.

·Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure designs are manufacturable and scalable for production.

·Preparing technical documentation including engineering drawings, bills of materials, test reports and installation manuals.

Technically Competent in:

·Mechanical engineering design and analysis

·3D CAD modelling, preferably SolidWorks

·Engineering drawings, assemblies and BOM preparation

·Structural and stress analysis

·Thermal modelling and performance testing

·Fluid dynamics, airflow and fan selection calculations

·Product validation, testing and troubleshooting

·Design for manufacture and supplier coordination

·Python or similar scripting for test automation and analysis

·Technical report writing and engineering documentation

Qualifications and experience

·Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related Design engineering discipline

·Approximately 2 to 3 years of relevant post-qualification engineering experience

·Experience in mechanical design, simulation, testing and product development

·Experience using SolidWorks or equivalent professional CAD software

·Experience preparing engineering calculations, drawings and product documentation

·Experience working with prototype development, testing and manufacturability considerations

Package:

·Full-time;

·38 hours per week (additional hours as reasonably required);

·Base Salary is $93,000 pa
