Tasks & responsibilities

· A McDonald’s Shift Supervisor (Hospitality, Retail and Service) is a member of the Management team. Manager in Hospitality, Retail and Service perform a variety of tasks which include planning , monitoring performance during their shift and taking action to ensure the team delivers high performance results.

· Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily business operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

· Manage staff recruitment, training, rostering, supervision, and performance management.

· Deliver high standards of customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints and issues.

· Monitor sales performance, control costs, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, hygiene, and industry regulations.

· Maintain stock levels, manage suppliers, and oversee purchasing and inventory control.

· Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards.

· Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports, and manage cash handling and financial records.

· Drive marketing, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales.

· Analyse business performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
