$54 - 56phr + 30% loading + Super + OT

About the Role
Working as part of a close-knit maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability of production equipment through preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, and supporting new equipment installations. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with a background in packaging or FMCG.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Assist with machinery installations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems
What We’re Looking For
- Trade-qualified Fitter (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Hands-on welding, grinding, cutting, and fabrication skills
- Experience with CMMS systems (MEX preferred)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Current working rights in Australia
