About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Kilburn Recycling Facility. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 8am – 4pm. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative and reactive/breakdown maintenance
- General technical support to the processing facility
- New and old machinery installation work
- Daily maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting and machine repair
- Respond to breakdowns and prioritise accordingly in conjunction with shift supervisor
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Qualification in Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Electrical disconnect reconnect licence is a bonus.
- Experience in a heavy industrial environment and working alongside production.
- Troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills and knowledge.
- Experience with conveyors, bearings and pneumatic systems.
- Strong safety-first mindset to everything you do.
