The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Swan Hill processing facility.

This role is critical in supporting the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our meat processing equipment and site infrastructure.

Key Duties Include:

1. Performing preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on processing equipment and plant facilities
2. Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across production lines and refrigeration systems
3. Installing and commissioning new electrical equipment
4. Maintaining accurate records of repairs, installations, and inspections
5. Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, WHS regulations, and food industry safety protocols
6. Working closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimise downtime

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Current A-Grade Electrician Licence (Victoria)
2. Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or food processing environments (preferred)
3. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
4. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
5. Solid commitment to workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards
6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends or on-call if required
7. Positive attitude, good communication skills, and team-focused approach
