We are currently recruiting an experienced Logistics and Inventory Supervisor to join our office in New South Wales.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies, policies, and plans to support procurement, storage, and global distribution of intelligent transport technology products.
- Leads inventory management and planning, overseeing stock levels, forecasting, and cost optimisation to support business growth and project delivery across international operations.
- Negotiating and managing contracts with global suppliers and logistics partners to meet quality standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines.
- Directs and monitors warehousing, inventory control, and distribution systems, establishing performance metrics, reviewing efficiency, and implementing improvements to meet strategic objectives.
- Oversees supply chain tracking and recording systems, ensuring timely replenishment, accurate reporting, and adherence to company-wide ERP processes.
- Coordinates cross-functional activities with engineering, production, project management, and customer teams, making managerial decisions to resolve supply chain bottlenecks and ensure smooth delivery of products.
- Leading and managing staff, setting performance targets and monitoring outcomes.
- Ensures delivery of products and services meets client requirements and operational KPIs, with a focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain management, developing policies, procedures, and performance standards to support organisational growth and innovation.
Relevant Skills
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or 5+ years relevant experience can substitute).
- Experience managing supply, storage, and distribution operations, preferably in international or tech-driven environments.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution systems.
- Ability to make strategic decisions, solve problems, and ensure compliance with safety and logistics regulations.
Benefits
- Annual base salary from $77,000 to $90,000 plus super for successful candidate.
