Position: ICT Customer Support Officer

Salary: $80,000 to $81,000 plus superannuation.
Greencars Sydney is a well-established and growing automotive workshop providing comprehensive vehicle servicing and repair solutions. Due to increased reliance on digital systems and business growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Customer Support Officer to support our internal ICT systems and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level ICT support to staff by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues
- Respond to and log ICT support requests, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution or escalation
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, network devices, operating systems, and business applications
- Support workshop management systems, booking platforms, invoicing software, and point-of-sale systems from a technical support perspective
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in line with security protocols
- Monitor system performance and assist with maintenance, updates, and data backups
- Liaise with external IT service providers, software vendors, and internet service providers
- Maintain records of ICT issues, system updates, and equipment inventory
- Provide basic training and guidance to staff on ICT systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies relating to data security and proper use of ICT systems
Skills & Experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in ICT support or similar role
- Relevant Diploma or Degree qualification in Information Technology or related field
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Ability to support business applications such as booking, invoicing, or CRM systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to assist non-technical users
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple support requests
