Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned aged care provider operating 41 residential aged care homes, with in-home and community care programs in WA, ACT and NSW. We are looking for an ICT Applications Developer support the delivery of high-quality, secure and reliable business applications, on a 6-month fixed term maternity leave cover contract (March 2026 – September 2026) with the possibility of extension. This role is based at our newly renovated Freshfields office in Carlisle, with occasional visits to our corporate office in West Perth.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager – ICT Applications, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end development and support of ICT applications — including requirements discovery, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will play a crucial role in delivering modern, user-friendly applications and SharePoint solutions that improve the experience of our staff and support Hall & Prior’s strategic goals.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, building and maintaining web applications using .NET (C#), ASP.NET
  • Developing responsive front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS and Bootstrap
  • Designing and optimising SQL Server data models, stored procedures and queries
  • Creating, configuring and maintaining SharePoint Online sites, workflows and automations (Power Automate, Power Apps, SPFx)
  • Developing and maintaining SSRS reports and datasets
  • Providing outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders, including conducting workshops, demos and UAT
  • Supporting operations by troubleshooting application and SharePoint issues, resolving incidents and contributing to preventative maintenance
  • Creating documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles to support ongoing solution lifecycle management

What you’ll bring

  • Previous professional experience as a full stack developer
  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery and modern design patterns
  • Demonstrated experience delivering SharePoint Online solutions including workflows, automations and forms
  • Experience developing and supporting SSRS reporting
  • Solid understanding of secure coding practices, testing principles and version control (Git)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Willing to obtain a Police Clearance and current Influenza vaccination
