The Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining Team Global Express’s systems and programs in relation to Accreditations directly associated with heavy vehicles.
The role aims to ensure ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements, the monitoring of systems and processes supporting accreditation elements and the facilitation of auditing both internally and externally in line with documented standards.
The Accreditation Manager provides direct guidance and information to internal stakeholders who operate under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and Western Australia Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (WAHVA). The role provides subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders, working collaboratively to achieve common objectives or aligned targets.
The Manager provides technical advice to recognised stakeholders and takes responsibility for the routine maintenance of supporting systems, regular review of system outputs and the facilitation of external auditing requirements.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
Provide subject matter expertise for the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of reporting including self-service, incident management improvements, statistics and development of dashboards and BI reports with agile, meaningful measurements.
Maintain and manage heavy vehicle accreditation (NHVAS and WAHVAS) including the facilitation of the relevant regulator audit program.
Maintain the systems, process and assurance that support adherence to heavy vehicle accreditation specifically, fatigue, mass, dimension and loading, fitness for work and maintenance.
Manage relationships with other TGE businesses that are associated with heavy vehicle accreditation.
Manage the accreditation relationship with road authorities in jurisdictions where Team Global Express operates.
Provide direct guidance or information to internal stakeholders who operate under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and Western Australia Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (WAHVA).
Participate in the development and delivery of an accreditation awareness education package for internal stakeholders.
Maintain currency of knowledge of all heavy vehicle accreditation requirements.
Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years heavy vehicle experience in a regulatory or operational capacity.
Excellent analytical, project and change management and organizational skills in a high-risk operational environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to prioritise components of a project, program, or portfolio of work in context with risks, activities, stakeholders.
Proven ability to be thorough and accurate.
Capable of identifying key issues and implementing short-, medium- and long-term improvement strategies.
Comprehensive knowledge and/or skills to guide and train others in identifying, assessing, prioritising and managing project and operational risks.
