HEAD CHEF/COOK

Zuma Caffe at the iconic Adelaide Central Market are seeking a skilled, highly motivated Head Chef to join our team with the ability to run a professional commercial kitchen.

We are offering a Full-time Position - 38 hpw with salary between $77,000 to $82,000

1. MAJORITY DAY WORK
2. FRIDAY NIGHT WORK UNTIL 9PM
3. NO SUNDAYS
4. IMMEDIATE START

Key requirements + skills:·

1. Plan and update menus to ensure quality and variety of dishes.
2. Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth food preparation and service.
3. Supervise, train and support kitchen staff.
4. Ensure all food safety, hygiene and workplace health regulations are followed.
5. Manage ordering, stock control and kitchen supplies.
6. Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
7. Monitor food costs and assist with kitchen budgeting.
8. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.
9. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Hours:

1. 38 hpw Full-time position on offer
2. Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm
3. Friday - as required
4. Saturday - as required
