About the role
We are seeking interest from motivated paralegals/ law students interested in developing a career within our Firm. The successful candidate will join our Graduate Program in February 2026, undertaking tasks for a team of lawyers, associates and partners. Daily tasks may include preparation of court documents, drafting legal correspondence, observing lawyers in meetings, mediations and court, as well as legal research.
You will have the opportunity to participate in two six-month rotations within the Firms practice groups, while completing your Practical Legal Training (PLT). We anticipate there will be a focus in our Property, Planning & Development group, at least initially.
You will receive mentoring, supervision and valuable hands-on practical experience from seasoned practitioners and specialists. You will also receive specialised training from experts in our Knowledge Centre to complete high quality research tasks, ensuring you are trained in correct legal research methods, relevant technology and firm style guides.

To be eligible for this role you must be on track to commence a graduate position in February 2026.

About the teams
Our Property, Planning and Development (PP&D) practice advises some of Australia’s leading property developers on projects both within and outside of Australia, including a number of iconic developments, working with clients across a range of transactions including capital transactions, renewable energy projects, waste and hydrogen projects, real estate and business acquisitions and finance transactions (project, corporate and property).
Our Construction, Infrastructure and Projects (CI&P) practice is one of the largest and busiest in the State. The team assist clients with contract preparation and review regarding large scale projects over a range of sectors including transport and social infrastructure, renewables, commercial, residential and industrial. The team also manage disputes, and to act in high-value and complex litigation and arbitration. Clients include major institutions, government, developers, multi-national engineering companies and the largest head contractors in the country.
Our Dispute Resolution & Litigation (DR&L) Group actively seeks solutions through mediation, negotiation and other dispute resolution techniques to achieve the outcomes our clients want and need. We have litigated every conceivable type of civil and regulatory dispute and offer a breadth of experience in litigation which is our primary focus. We are equally well known for handling ‘bet-the-company’ litigation and the largest commercial disputes as well as disputes involving private individuals and their businesses.
Our specialist Workplace Relations & Safety (WR&S) practice has extensive experience acting for employers and employees in both the public and private sector and across a range of industries. The team undertake workplace disputes/ litigation in both State and Federal Courts arising from matters such as workplace misconduct, harassment allegations, underpayments, adverse action and breach of Award. This team also handles professional disciplinary matters and some criminal matters.
Our Corporate & Commercial (C&C) Group specialises in all areas of corporate and commercial law.
This includes advising on corporate governance, compliance under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), employee share and option schemes, ownership structures, all aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestments, personal property securities, private and public fundraising and IPOs and complex commercial agreements.
