Skill/Experience Required
- Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a dynamic setting.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced and large restaurant or similar dining environment for at least 1 year.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent minimum
- Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.
- Willing to learn attitude.
- Experience implementing and upholding company policies and standards
- A high level of Vietnamese/Asian food & beverage knowledge, and the ability to spark engaging conversations with our fantastic customers
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Managing the front of house team
- Training and mentoring your team to foster their personal development and career progression
- Ensuring a successful, profitable and consistent operation of the restaurant and bar
- Establishing relationships with both front of house and back of house team
- Restaurant administrative and reporting functions
- Report directly to Director on venue performance
- Maintain food permits, and all compliance documents including food registration/OH&S - annual inspection/audit
- Conduct staff performance reviews and final weekly sales spreadsheet checks (wages, cash, invoices, and costs)
- Develop strategies to maximize revenue, spend per head, and overall profitability
- Generate sales leads and contribute to the sales system
- Maintain strong communication with the kitchen and marketing departments
- Ensure food & beverage quality control measures are consistently upheld and work with the Head Chef on improvement action plans
- Manage systems & manuals to standardize operations
- Oversee venue maintenance management and budgeting

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation
