Full time early childhood educator

We are currently seeking a full time early childhood educator.

MyCentre Childcare Pty Ltd is seeking several full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team in our centre in Broadmeadows, Victoria. This privately owned and operated centre, provides a supportive and professional work environment, with a team dedicated to making a positive contribution to the lives of children and families.

About the role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Certificate III or Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care educator, who would be available to work on flexible shifts ranging between 7am and 6pm.

Your roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to:

· Quickly building a positive rapport with both the centre’s team and children

· Assist the room Educator with setting up engaging and educational activities

· Ability to document children’s learning

· Engaged and supervise the children within your care

· Assist children in daily routines, rest periods and meal times

· Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children at all times

· Create positive relationships with team members, children and their families

Essential criteria:

· A certificate III or higher qualification in early childhood education plus one year post qualification experience or three years’ experience in an early learning setting

· Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.

· Current working with Children check

· Police check

· Current first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications

· Knowledge of the Regulations, standards, framework and codes

· Excellent communication skills

· Willingness to learn and be part of the team

· Ability to work in a team environment
