Authentic Taste of India is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Cook to join our team.
Salary Range - $75,000 to $80,000
Business Location - Albury, NSW 2640
Responsibilities
* Inspect ingredients and food to ensure quality.
* Monitor and control oven, grill, and cooking equipment temperatures.
* Prepare and cook meals according to menu requirements.
* Season dishes appropriately during cooking.
* Portion and plate meals with sauces, gravies, and garnishes.
* Store food in temperature-controlled areas.
* Prepare meals for special dietary requirements.
* Assist with menu planning and estimating food needs when required.
* Support and train junior kitchen staff or apprentices.
Skills & Qualifications
* AQF Certificate Ill in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
* Relevant experience or on-the-job training.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
