Forklift Operators

Acclaimed Workforce is a specialist recruitment and labour hire agency servicing wine, manufacturing and warehousing employees in key regional and metropolitan hubs. We are currently looking to add multiple roles for skills Forklift Operators to work across various client sites based in the Barossa Valley for casual on-going work.

Candidates who can work across weekly rotating rosters will be highly regarded. Shift rotations vary between different sites.

Requirements:

• Good work ethics and a keen interest to learn new skills/tasks
• Use RF technology in a logistics environment or willing to learn
• Warehouse tasks including moving pallets of wet & dry goods, glass products (highly desirable), loading/unloading trucks
• Good time management and organizational skills to be able to coordinate daily workload requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

To be successful in this role you MUST have:

• Experience in warehousing and forklift operations, hold a valid forklift license
• Ability to work rotating shift, day, afternoon, night – Monday to Friday
• Good work ethics, great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• The ability to take directions and follow instructions accurately
• The ability to pass the Acclaimed Workforce Pre-employment criteria which will include a musculoskeletal assessment with drug and alcohol testing
• A minimum of two (2) contactable work-related referees.

Additional information

The right candidates will meet selection criteria based on previous Forklift experience and may be required to pass a Forklift WHS assessment to be successful.

Applicants must possess unrestricted working rights in Australia. We are seeking long-term workers in the region. No 88-day Visa travellers or applicants residing overseas will be considered.
